From the Principal:

Welcome to Bessie Buker Elementary School. We are a community-oriented K-5 elementary school located in Wenham, MA serving students from both the towns of Hamilton and Wenham.

Our dedicated and caring staff work to meet the social and emotional needs of our students to ensure they can achieve their best. This student-centered approach allows each student to thrive in academic and social areas. Students are challenged to think critically and support their ideas with evidence. We seek to foster a passion for learning as we prepare our students to be engaged students in the quickly changing 21st century world. By working with parents and the community we can more effectively support our students in this path.

We hope that this website will contribute to our goal of communicating and sharing early and often with parents, friends, and community members.
