The mission of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District Pre K-12 Counseling Department is to guide students to become compassionate, responsible, and resilient individuals who are able to meet the challenges of an increasingly diverse and changing society.
The vision of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District Pre K-12 Counseling Department is to create an environment in which students will feel safe and supported in an effort to maximize their individual potential.

Senior Families~The College Admissions Process:
The High School Counseling Department hosted a webinar for seniors and their families on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 to discuss the college application process. A link to access the recorded webinar is below for those we were not able to attend.

We also encourage families to take advantage of the many free webinars offered by the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA), which cover topics such as financial aid, completing the FAFSA, and the CSS Profile. You may visit their website to explore and register for events that fit your schedule.

We will hold a Military Event on Wednesday, December 3rd during Power Block where students will have the opportunity to meet representatives from various branches of the military.
In the New Year, the School Counseling office will be hosting a College Panel Jr. Parent Webinar in January as well as hosting a Coffee with Counselors in February for an opportunity to meet our School Counselors.

Work Permits
All minors under the age of 18 must complete an employment permit application and obtain the permit before starting a new job.

Completed applications along with required documentations must be brought by the student to the main office at the high school.
