HW Athletics Update:  Friday, November 29th - 7:00 AM:  

• HW Football defeated Ipswich yesterday on a raw and rainy day at Ipswich High School in the 49th Annual Thanksgiving Day match-up, 22-20 in overtime.  The Generals used big plays and a bend but don't break defense to stake a 14-0 lead one play into the 4th Quarter.  However, the Tigers came roaring back to tie the game with a pair of 4th Quarter touchdowns, the latter of which was with less than a minute to play in regulation to send the game to the extra frame.
  
  After Ipswich scored on their first OT possession, the Generals stuffed the two point conversion run.  Once they took over, HW tied the game up on the first play on a run around the right side and iced the game with a successful two point try.  It was the second win in a row for the Generals in the Holiday Classic.
