State Tournament Update (2/28/26 - 10:00 AM)

HW Boys Basketball (10-11) defeated Frontier Regional last night, 64-62 in the 1st Round of the MIAA Division IV State Tournament.  The Generals advance to the Sweet Sixteen and will face #2 Milbury High School on Monday, March 2nd at 6:30 PM at Nipmuc Regional High School (90 Pleasant Street - Upton, MA). Further game details to follow in the coming days.

HW Girls Basketball (11-10) fell to Greater Lawrence last night, 64-45 in the 1st Round of the MIAA Division IV State Tournament.  As the game began to unfold, it was clear the Generals were struggling to get their offense on track, falling behind early. They trailed 14-5 after the first and 24-16 at the break. HW cut the Greater Lawrence lead to seven mid way through the 3rd quarter but would get no closer. The Generals and the Seniors finish the season having qualified for the State Tournament in each of their four years and earning a CAL Title last year. Thank you to Margot, Gabriella and Lilly for all you have done for the program. You will be missed!
