HWRHS News & Events
We have begun meeting with the architect for the Cutler Elementary School Project on a weekly basis to develop plans and opportunities for information gathering. You can find us at the Farmers Market on 9/29 and 10/6 answering questions about the project. We will also be running an Educational Forum that consists of 30-40 people working through a visioning process for the new school building. This is an exciting opportunity for parents, staff, administration, community members, and government officials to come together to develop a vision for a school of the future. Having been through this process before, it is an awesome way to be part of the design of a new school.
If you would like to be a member of the Educational Forum Visioning Session, please be sure you can attend the sessions on both October 11 & October 18 and sign up here. The sessions will be held in the MS/HS Library. We are also working on an evening visioning session. As soon as we have the details, we will send out the invite.
The SEPAC is a group of parents and guardians of students involved in Special Education (IEPs and 504 plans) and other interested parties. The volunteer group is an advisory committee. We meet regularly to provide information and support to one another and give input into the policies and programs that impact our children. We will have our first virtual meeting of the school year on October 11th at 8 pm.
We look forward to a productive 2023-2024 school year. If you have any questions feel free to contact Becky Bonenfant at bonenfantbecky@gmail.com or Hallie Britton at halliec@hotmail.com
