Triple Jump was the first of three events she will be competing in at the Div. VI State Championship. Last night she jumped 36’5” achieving a new personal record winning first place. On Saturday, Georgia will compete in both the Long Jump (#2 Seed) and the 100m. Next week, she will compete in the Triple and Long Jump at the All States Championship Meet and then onto New Balance Nationals in Philadelphia in June.
On Tuesday May 23rd, 52 Juniors attended the Credit for Life Fair at Masconoment Regional High School.
The Credit for Life Fair is a half-day interactive financial decision-making fair that illustrates basic personal financial management skills sponsored entirely by the Institution for Savings Bank. Each participant chooses a profession and receives a mock financial ‘profile’ at age 25. They must then ‘purchase’ goods and services such as housing, transportation, insurance, food, and more, all the while living within their monthly ‘salaries’. The student’s goal for the day: Balance their budgets!
The Class of 2025 is hosting an Electronics Drive Fundraiser at the high school on Wednesday, June 7th from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.
